Honda HR-V | Apple Tree Honda
Efficiency in motion
For 2018, each Honda HR-V is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces a tidy 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the HR-V can come with a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which route power to either two or all of its wheels. All of these combinations continue to deliver strong fuel efficiency.
- Six-speed manual and two-wheel drive: 25/33/28 MPG City/Highway/Combined1
- CVT and two-wheel drive: 28/34/31 MPG City/Highway/Combined1
- CVT and all-wheel drive: 27/31/29 MPG City/Highway/Combined1
Advanced interior
As vehicles become more technologically refined, a greater amount of the driving experience comes from factors which are not directly related to the vehicle’s drivetrain. Luckily, the 2018 HR-V is outfitted with a number of comfort- and convenience-focused features which enhance the driving experience without distracting the driver. Some are purely about physical comfort, like an automatic climate control system or heated front seats, but some are designed to make using the HR-V easier, like Honda LaneWatch™2 and push-button start.
Versatile interior
One of the large advantages of a crossover, compared to a sedan or coupe, is the versatility of its interior space. The 2018 Honda HR-V offers even more options than most crossovers, with unique cargo space configurations.
- The rear seats fold flat for up to 58.8 cubic feet of space
- The front passenger seat folds flat for cargo up to 8 feet long
- The rear seat bottoms fold upward to allow up to 4 feet of vertical space
Compelling design
Given the rapid expansion of the crossover segment, it’s not easy making one that stands out from the sea of competitors, but the 2019 Honda HR-V manages to do so with ease. The eight available exterior colors are compelling, the front and rear LED head- and taillights are distinctive, and the Sport trim is truly attractive, thanks to its stylish 18-inch wheels, exclusive black honeycomb grille, and gloss black rear bumper.
Advanced driver assistance
In addition to creating a vehicle that is structurally safe, the 2019 HR-V is also available with a long list of safety and driver-assistive technologies that help alert you of something you might have missed. These include Lane Departure Warning and the Honda Sensing® suite, which comes with Collision Mitigation Braking System™, a feature that is capable of braking the car for you if it detects an impending front collision.
